I have a new pain, one I haven't felt before. It's on the upper to mid left side of my left quadricep. I don't know where it came from. Yesterday it was sore, but I figured it was from the 8 mile jog I did that morning, or maybe I pulled it when I knelt down wearing the high-heeled boots on Friday. Today, it feels worse and walking up stairs hurts. If I don't move it for a while, it stiffens up and hurts worse. Help! What the hell is it that hurts??
Today is South Beach, phase 3, and the first day of doing it while working. It wasn't too bad. Usually I get a chocolate craving while I'm in school (and end up with m&ms before the day is done), but I didn't miss it. I am ravenously hungry now, though, so I think I'm going to cook dinner as soon as I'm done the on-line updates. Oh, and I know I wasn't going to weigh myself until Saturday, but... I'm happy with what the scale has been saying. I look forward to giving you a pound loss update on Saturday.
