I did the unthinkable - I found a bridesmaid dress that I actually like! Not only did I find one that I like and that I can wear it again, but it was at the first shop and was the only dress I tried on!
It's tea-length, lilac (I might dye it wine red after the wedding, if it's possible with that kind of fabric) flouncy chiffon with a low-cut, halter neckline. I look great in it, although the tan line from my running singlet and sports bra shows (I'll be tanning in early June to get rid of the lines) it is a fabulous dress. I have an hour-glass figure, which is accentuated, and it makes my cleavage look great. It's pretty damned sexy. Now I need to find other formal events I can wear it to!
Oh, and I was NOT subjected to another lecture on my single status by Yvonne. Instead, she merely told me that she is not participating in the bouquet toss because it would be pointless because I am the only single woman coming to her wedding. Ouch. I've seen the invite list. She's right.
Whatever. I'll still look damn hot in that dress.
