Speed practice rundown: lunges, gallops, butt-kicks. Then we did the ladder (run a minute, walk a minute, run 90 seconds, walk a minute, run 2 minutes, etc.). I copped out after a mile because my left Achilles tendon started acting up again and I have no desire to injure it. So I stretched it out a bit and walked it out. I tried to run every once in a while, but it started acting up quickly, so I just gave up.
I'm feeling better about my disappointment. I'm just going to go to NY and DC for a few weeks in the summer and just relax. I'll just apply again next year, and again and again until they get tired of me and just accept me to shut me up. :)
