I had a so-so day. Today was the last day of Stanford 10 testing, thank God. That has got to be the most boring test to administer - and for three straight days! We couldn't seem to get the times right, we were behind, class schedules were odd, I didn't know how to plan, lunch was almost at 2 and I was starving...
I did, however, discover that many teachers and I are chaperoning a field trip on Thursday, which will be fun. Plus, I didn't have my least favorite period today.
I ran today!!! I was not looking forward to it, but I had to run off all the pizza I had for lunch today.
Stats:
Miles: 6
Weather: Sucked. It was hot. I was not happy. I almost gave up after 3 miles.
Time: average 13:30 pace.
Type: Endurance run. Run a mile, walk 45 seconds.
People I knew: 1 (Faith, my co-mentor)
Times Faith passed me up: 3. She's speedy.
Oddest site: A man running, pushing a baby stroller. There was no baby on board, only a basketball. I hope there's not a baby in a basket somewhere.
Hydration: Pretty good, actually.
Nutrition: Notice I said I ate a lot of pizza at lunch. Enough said.
I also went to the gym this morning: 50 minutes on the elliptical machine and 20 minutes of lower body weights.
This weekend I hope to get 16-17 miles done. Only going 6 miles thus far doesn't make me happy. I might get 3-6 done tomorrow. Christine's coming into town and we have so much to talk about. I'm trying to convince her to jog and do it at the same time so that we can gossip and burn calories and I can get some miles in.
Next week, I don't have a lot after school, except two rodeo days. Wednesday is Toby Keith (with Carissa) and Thursday is Maroon 5 (with my friend Chad, I think). Hopefully I can run run run next week. And then the next week is Spring Break! I'm going to be a running fool! I can run in the morning again!!!
Ok, time to relax and go to bed.
Cheers!

I wish I had your drive to exercise. I really need to get off my ass & get to the gym more.
